Hello,
I am having problems enabling record/play in the new release of the application eDataManagement by eResearchTechnologies. Record/Play works in the Oracle 9i version but not this one. (Oracle 10g, with Oracle 10gAS BI Forms). Does someone know how to enable record/play in this version? Thank you

Hi,

Record/play does work in 10g forms however it is difficult to give instructions for eDataManagement. One tip we can give is that with 10g forms (at least when used with E-Business Suite) they will not work in recording mode unless also put in to playback mode, so you must include both record and play parameters to do a recording. The file you play from should be a dummy file containing either nothing or just the first 1 or 2 lines of valid playback instructions. Doing that should make recording work.

Regards,

Jonathan
