When creating record.fld the username / password and responsibility are recorded in the file when the user logs in. Is it possible to setup dataload so this information is omitted from record.fld ?
We are using the following software versions :
Dataload : 4.3.2.1
Oracle Forms 4.5
Oracle Financials 11.0.3
Oracle DB 8.1.7
Thanks

Not as far as I know, but as soon as you the file is created, you could edit it and change the username field so that it contained the dummy value <userid> and the password field so that it contained the dummy value <password>. The .fld file could then be safely stored in a public area, without the risk of an unauthorised person being able to run it unless they had a valid userid and password, which they would enter (using the "Options" icon) before running.
Not ideal, perhaps, but it is a possible workaround.
The responsibility is slightly different, in that there are some things that may work with one responsibility that may not work with another:
opening a form using a number from your Top Ten list on the Navigator
navigation in the menus
security rules and cross segment validation
customer sites
supplier sites
So I would be tempted to leave the responsibility as it is recorded. After all, the responsibility has to be assigned to their userid before anybody can log on with it.

Roger,
No this isn't posible. However, when you upgrade to 11i (hopefully this is planned!) this problem will go away because you no longer login to Oracle through Oracle Forms so the login is not recorded in the forms playback file.
