I am testing a load using Oracle HCM (ESR),v11 I have built in a lot of specifc delays, and am loading three data items. The first time in a session it loads the first line perfectly, then when going into the second record starts loading out of sync, as if there are not sufficient delays.
If I then clear down the loaded data from first entry and start again it works perfectly and continues to do so.
Anybody have any thoughts? |

Hi,
This is probably caused because of variations in the responsiveness and speed of the Oracle form. A form can start slow and then speed up once all code has been run once, etc. Try increasing the delays further, either with your specific delays and/or by increasing the generic delays (e.g. cell processed delay) in the delays window (Tools -> Delays). If the load then works consistently, including where the load currently fails, then this proves the cause is that the form is initially running slowly. If that is the case then you could keep the delays high or you could enter 2 records and clear the form before loading the bulk of your data so that the form is fully "initialised" before the main load. If you are using DataLoad Pro then turn on Load Control and DataLoad will automatically the delays and vary them according to Oracle's readiness and that will fix this issue.
Thanks and regards,
