I set up and tested a macro in DataLoad against our test environment (Oracle APS) to populate data in the PROD DEMAND PLAN. Macro ran fine. Moved macro to our production (Oracle APS) and reset the coordinates (ML) but when I ran the macro the coordinates for the FIND WINDOW were not recognized. I sent an email to our Oracle support to see if there are any setting differences/permissions (test vs production) that would cause the macro not to work in production but have not received a replied yet. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue and if you have, were you able to resolve it and what did you do?
Thanks! |

When you say ML, I take it that you mean *ML - MouseClick - Left?
When using Macro Load, I prefer to use keyboard commands wherever possible, simply because screen coordinates can change. So can you please look again at your load, with a view to using keyboard commands only?
In Oracle Apps, you can do Help, Keyboard Help and find all sorts of usefull keyboard commands. In Dataload, you can use the Edit Commands button to see the DataLoad shortcuts. You can also refer to:-
http://www.dataload.net/help/macro/commands.htm and
http://www.dataload.net/help/macro/keystrokes.htm
Hope This Helps. If not, please let us know. _________________ When my time comes,
